A beautiful sunny afternoon, a simple but fascinating location, a wonderful couple of engaged  lovers and myself. 

 

With such a mix, the result couldn't have been further from an amazing engagement book. Lisa and Matteo will get married in September in Malo, in the province of Vicenza and we have decided to organize this couple shoot session a few months before the big day (saying "engagement" is cooler, but at the end we are talking about photo ...: - )). 

 

When we first talked about, they weren't sure about the shooting location. Then, I told them "Look guys, the subject of the photos is you two, not the landscape!", thinking to make clear that when I shoot, both during weddings and couple sessions, I don't care about the landscape. It is called a "background" exactly because it must act as a background. It can't be taking the scene. diverting the attention away from the real subject .... the couple! Of course taking wedding photos in Venice is certainly more suggestive than in a supermarket square. But, when there is chemistry between lovers you can really go anywhere ... and the results will always be exciting (if I photograph you ....).

 

That said to explain why I said to Lisa and Matteo "Don't worry, let's go to the fields near your home". Et voilà, in an hour or so we chatted, walked, admired the beautiful landscape offered by Vicenza's province, laughed and certainly shot.
